Summary
Solder components to a printed circuit board to create an electronic device that you can keep.
Narrative
The Bynars are a species of cybernetically connected humanoids who operate in pairs. They communicate with their partners using thought and language patterns that imitate binary code. Bynars are excellent electrical engineers and are sometimes employed by Starfleet to upgrade ship computer systems. When the shuttle your Starfleet team is using to complete a short recon mission away from your main ship breaks down and comms with your ship are lost the Bynars offer to step in and help with upgrades, but the Bynar upgrades are not what they seem and cannot be trusted. Disconnected from the main ship you have no access to the Engineering officers and only limited tools available. You are going to need to go right back to basics and build a distress beacon from scratch so that the main ship can send out a rescue party.
