Using only essential tools available construct an electronic kit that you can keep.
The Bynars are a species of cybernetically connected humanoids who operate in pairs. They communicate with their partners using thought and language patterns that imitate binary code. Bynars are excellent electrical engineers and are sometimes employed by Starfleet to upgrade ship computer systems. When the shuttle your Starfleet team is using to complete a short recon mission away from your main ship breaks down and comms with your ship are lost the Bynars offer to step in and help with upgrades.
The Bynar upgrades are not what they seem and cannot be trusted. The only sure way to get your shuttle operational and reconnect with your ship is to reconstruct key components yourself. Disconnected from the main ship you have no access to the Engineering officers and only limited tools available. You are going to need to go right back to basics and build the required devices from scratch and without any assistance from the shuttle computers which have been tampered with by the Bynars.
Follow the directions in the shuttle manual to connect the required circuits. Work as a team to ensure all required circuits are operational and ready to fit in shuttle.
