Summary

Using Radio Communications technologies and data input devices, Scouts will need to gather intelligence and feed it into a recording device to unlock the Academy's training systems for the course to proceed.

Narrative

Welcome to Starfleet Academy's final training module: Survival. Upon completion of this course you'll be ready to beam up to the orbiting starship and begin your career as Starfleet Officer. Endless exciting adventures await you, but first, we need to ensure you're prepared to explore the final frontier.

Usually the Survival component is completed in a state-of-the-art training facility, featuring anti-gravity modules, quantum computing terminals, immersive holodeck weapons training, and full-featured remote environment equipment support kits. However, due to upgrades and construction delays, the new facility is not available, so the course has been moved to Mafeking Rover Park, known for its harsh environmental challenges.
