Use microscopes, chemical analysis and imaging techniques to analyse and identify samples of alien life.
Every Starfleet voyage comes with new discoveries, from simple single cell organisms to massive planet wide connected lifeforms that defy classification. Samples of all types are collected non-invasively and ethically from organisms encountered by the away teams. A range of laboratory tests are carried out to classify and record the samples. Physical samples are stored in the Xenolab lockers and recorded data is kept within the starship database until they can be transferred to Starfleet HQ. Unfortunatley the xenobiology section of this ship has a large number of samples from different xeno collections which have become mixed up. Fortunately we do have detailed descriptions of each of the xenos and know how the samples should behave when different tests are performed on them. Your mission is to run a series of tests on each of the xeno samples and work out which xeno collection they belong to.
