Camp out overnight in a shelter you have built yourself without any of your usual creature comforts. Learn different techniques for lighting fires.
This activity is available for Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers who meet the requirements of OAS Bushwalking Level 3.
Participants will meet outside Starfleet Command at 9pm, Saturday 27 April, where they will be escorted to their remote campsite for the evening. Campers will return to their Event Units from 7am on Sunday 28 April for breakfast before resuming the rest of their Star Trek: Survival journey with their Event Patrol.

Away missions are the one of the most risky activities that Starfleet members will ever undertake. Landing on remote planets is fraught with danger - especially when your vessel is not able to remain in orbit above a hostile planet while you're exploring! It is essential that Starfleet members have the ability to cope in treacherous conditions to obtain their mission goals and still survive the experience.
Members of the Enterprise NX-01 conducted the first off-world away mission, and you will relive their experience and explore what it's like to be self-sufficient for an evening.
